Diagrams and Screenshots

XPad's models are mainly based on 4 different kind of diagrams:
the Hardware Configuration panel: a window in which you specify the interfaces of your applications, using supported pheripherals and protocols; includes wizards;
the State Control Diagram (STD): a container where you specify timing and group related tasks;
the Flow Diagram: a flow of execution where you specify the work to be done a single moment in time;
the Dynamic Variable or Expression sheet: where you specify transitions (trigger-conditions activating state-changes in STDs), decisions (to control the flow in a flow-diagram), expressions (to perform basic math calculations);

Furthermore there are a number of form-based editors which are used to specify parts and properties of your model which are more naturally represented in a textual/list-box kind of manner.

XPad's IDE links all these element and a number of tools together by providing navigation browsers, menus and access to help-files.
